4 Months Old

4 months:

You're still sleeping through the night which has been a blessing. When you cry it's like a loud scream, ha! You love to coo, talk and squeal. If we prop you back on a pillow, you will do a stomach crunch and sit all the way up and fall forward. I tried giving you some rice cereal and bananas. That was not a good idea with your sensitive stomach. With the bananas you cried and cried like your belly hurt.

Today we had your 4 month appointment. Here are your stats:

                          Weight: 15lbs 10oz. (75%)
                          Height: 25 1/4" (75%)
                          FOC: 41/5cm (25-50%)

The doctor said to wait until 6 months to try food again. You certainly are not having a problem gaining weight. Everyone talks about your chubby cheeks. I can't stop kissing your sweet baby face :-) It took several tries to get a 4 month photo. You did not like sitting in your chair and did a lot of crying, ha!

4th of July

We had a great time the 4th with all our wonderful neighbors. There were 22 kids for the cookout. Our neighbors The George's had the party at their house and had the Olympic games for the kids to play. I love that we live in a neighborhood with so many kids and fun people. We missed Madison. She was visiting her grandparents.

3 Months Old

Tucker Kade your growing so much! At 3 months you weigh 13.1 pounds and you are almost 24 inches long. I think we finally found a formula your belly can handle. You are now drinking soy formula. When being held you will do a stomach crunch to lift your head up. You love to sit up and watch what's going on around the house. You can now laugh out loud and it's so funny! You smile all the time. Another big milestone is your sleeping thru the night, yeah!!! You usually go down between 9:30-10pm and wake up for a bottle around 6:30am and go back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. Being the baby of the family your getting all kinds of attention. I love it when you stick that big bottom lip out and pout for someone to hold you. Tummy time is getting better, but you try to scoot and dig your toes in the playmat. You love your pacifier too. Your sisters would rarely take a pacifier, but you love yours!

2 Months Old

Tucker how are you already 2 months old?? You have grown so much. At 5 weeks you started smiling and cooing. Sleeping is getting much better. You're sleeping 4-5 hours at night. In fact last night you only woke up one time to eat. We have recently found out you're lactose intolerant, but the Doctor thinks you will grow out of this. I pray you do! I have been on a non-dairy diet and it's so hard to find food without Milk products.

      Weighed: 11 lbs 13 oz. (50-75%)
      Length:  23" (50-75%)
      FOC: 38.5cm (25%)

You're eating 4-6 Oz every 2 hours. I just love your chubby cheeks and chunky little thighs. I've already packed up all your newborn clothes and some 0-3 months that ran small.

1 month old!

Sweet baby Tucker I can't believe you are already a month old today on Easter Sunday. You are a happy baby who likes to eat, eat & eat. You wake up 3-4 times a night. All night long you grunt and make lots of funny noises. What a gassy boy you are too! Your dad and I laugh in the middle of the night. Every time I say your sister Karter's name you smile. I'm sure it's because you only heard it 30 times a day while still in my belly :)  You sleep best in bed next to mommy of course. We are so blessed to have you and thank God every night in my prayers for blessing us with healthy baby boy.

A few stats on growth:
The day you came home from the hospital you weighed 6 pounds 15 oz. At your one week appointment you were still 21 inches long, but weighed 7 pounds 2 oz and at your 2 week appointment you were 8 pounds.

 Tucker is say "Peace" here

Christmas 2011

We had a great low key Christmas this year. I love being laid back and not rushing from here to there. I finished all my Christmas Shopping before the big crowds and had time to sit back and relax. It was nice not having to take the girls to school, cheer, dance/tap. The taxi driver (myself) actually got a much needed break.

All Karter asked for Christmas from Santa was an American Girl Doll. Now that Madison is older, shopping for her is not as fun. Clothes, shoes & more clothes... Nothing too exciting there. I'm glad 2011 is behind us and starting off fresh for a new year. Praying for a healthy year for all my family!
