18 Months

Tucker you are 18 months old now. You're growing so fast. This past week you started Mother's Day Out. You cried really hard when I left you, but ended up having a great day.

Being outside is your favorite thing to do. Anything to do with a ball keeps your attention. You can put the ball on the T-ball set and hit it with the bat. You love to play basketball and soccer too.

Your vocabulary is starting to get better. When you want my attention you say "mom, mommy, mom, mommy" It's so funny. Your newest word is Whoa! You can point to your ears, mouth, nose & belly button. You love to give big hugs. Trying to say your sisters name is too hard. You call them both Ma ma. Every school morning, I pick you up out of your crib and carry you to Karter's room. You lay down on her and hug and kiss her cheek. You love to move her hair out of her face and then hug her again. You're a sweet sweet boy.

I love when we are sitting on the couch together and you stand up and put your arm around my neck and squeeze me. Tucker you keep us busy and I seem to never get to sit down during the day for chasing you. You love to climb on the kitchen table and over the back of the living room chair. I wouldn't have it any other way.

1st day of Mother's Day out!

A Very Hungry Caterpillar 1st Birthday

I'm a little late at posting about Tucker's 1st Birthday Party. We celebrated on Saturday March 9th.

Here is a picture above the mantel. I made a caterpillar of his first year photos that I have taken each month (Thanks to Pinterest).

Here is the cute caterpillar cake I had made.

Some pictures of the decor.

I had a shirt made that said Tucker is 1. It was hard to get him to be still long enough for a photo.

Waiting on his cake.

Tucker ate almost the entire cake!

Opening his presents

Getting photos with mom & dad.
Happy 1st Birthday Tucker!! We love you so much and you complete our little family.

12 Months

Tucker you are a 1 year old!!! I'm so sad how fast time has flown. On your birthday morning, daddy tied balloons to your high chair. I couldn't get you to smile for a picture. I think you were a little confused as to why we were so excited that morning and everyone kept saying "Happy Birthday".

For dinner that night we went to Texas Road House. You got to sit on the saddle and the staff announced it was your birthday to our section. When you got on the saddle you were hopping up and down like you've rode a horse before.

Yesterday was your one year check up. Poor baby had to get 3 shots. Your stats:
                                    20 pounds- Weight
                                    29 Inches - Height

You're walking everywhere now. You have learned to point and it's the cutest thing. I'll do a separate blog all about your birthday party :)
I'm trying to transition you to a sippy cup, but so far I haven't found one that you really like. The doctor said it's okay to start giving you Soy Milk. We are to try Cow's Milk once a month to see how your tummy handles it. She says it still sounds like you are lactose intolerant since you drank some milk and had a major blow out. You can now say Mama, Dada, Dog and I still can't make out what you call Madison & Karter. You love to follow them around and if anyone ever leaves the gate open to the stairs you think it's the best day of your life. You laugh and scream the whole way up the stairs. You only have two bottom teeth and 1/2 a top tooth is showing. You will eat anything I put in front of you. Your still sleeping really good at night.

Here are the last sticker photos. It was so hard to keep the sticker on your shirt. You kept wanting to peel it off. You also won't sit still for a picture. Always on the go.

11 months

Tucker you are almost 1! Makes me sad just thinking about it. Over this past month you have started walking(first steps were on February 4th)! You can take 6-7 steps and then fall down. You pop back up so fast. You get excited like your trying to run instead of walk.

Your top two teeth are coming in. You've been running fever and a little fussy. You have found your voice and know how to use it, ha! Everyone in our household is so loud and you fit right in.

You are such a boy! You love to make yourself toot. I say shooo-eee and you try even harder to do it. It's the funniest thing. One evening you did it in the bath tub and laughed for a long time about the bubbles coming up. You kept grunting trying to make yourself do it again, ha!

Tucker you give the best hugs. When I pick you up, you take your arms and wrap around my neck and just squeeze me. It's the sweetest thing. You have no fear of strangers. You will go to anyone, even men! Your still sleeping really well through the night. At least 11-12 hours a night. You take a 2 hour nap in the morning and one 45min - hour nap late afternoon. Bath time is your favorite thing. I can tell you will love swimming this summer. I can't keep you from putting your face in the water or under the faucet.

You love to climb on everything and put anything in your mouth. You keep me on my toes. I love how you yell Dad. I took you to the mall a few weeks ago and every bald guy you saw, you yelled Dad.

Taking some steps

Your favorite thing is the vacuum cleaner, so I bought you one.

Say Cheese
