10 Months Old

Another month has flown by... I'm amazed at all the new things you are learning. Your dad will say give me five and you smack his hand and then start clapping for us to say "yea". You get so excited. Bath time is your absolute favorite. All I have to say is are you ready for a bath and you crawl as fast as you can to the tub. I can tell you are really going to like the water this summer.

Your still climbing on everything. If someone leaves the gate open, you get so excited and can crawl up the stairs in no time. If I come get you half way up you scream & cry. Here is a little video clip.

You have a funny personality. Your always smiling and when someone talks to you even a stranger you smile ear to ear. Another big milestone is on 1/10/13 you stood all by yourself. You're now doing this more often. I love it when I go in the kitchen and you will just be standing there like a little old man, ha!

Your top 4 teeth are trying to all come in at once. You have not been fussy at all, but your gums sure are swollen. This month you had another ear infection, this time in both ears. I hope you don't have to get tubes like your sister, but looks like we maybe heading in that direction. When I took you to the doctor you weighed 20.2 pounds. Big boy! There is nothing you won't eat and you eat nonstop!!! I'm glad I at least have one kid that is a big eater. You can say Dada, Momma, and Ba Ba (bottle). You say other stuff, but not sure what you are trying to tell us yet. Won't be long before we have a walker.

9 Months Old

I'm a little behind with my 9 month post. It's been a busy month. Tucker is in to everything! Pulling up everywhere, standing, climbing and trying to eat anything he can put in his mouth. At his 9 month appointment we found out Tucker had RSV. His stats for the month were:

Weight: 19lbs.
Height: 28 inches
Percentile 25-50th

Tucker you have learned so much this month. The word "No". All we have to say is your name when your doing something you shouldn't be and you start shaking your head No. You can clap when we say "Yeah" and learning to do Patty-cake. Dada is still the most common word you use, but every now and again you will say Momma. You have a very strong grip and love to pull hair, ha! You did so good on Santa's lap. You have no fear and no one is a stranger to you.

You love to eat! I'm giving you more table food. Every morning you eat a pancake or some fruit. You like to chase Karter around and kiss Madison when you see her. I bet not long before you are walking.

8 Months Old

On November 8th, Tucker turned 8 months old. He is such a happy baby. This past month he had his first illness. The croup and then an ear infection. I hope he doesn't get bad ears like his sister Karter.

Tucker you are growing and learning knew things everyday. You're getting better at moving around and crawl with one leg bent up. You put everything in your mouth. If there is one little speck on the carpet, you find it. The other day you were just chewing and chewing on something ( I thought it was a puff snack). I picked you up and out falls a rock. Not sure where the rock came from. You have learned to put your lips together and make noises (kind of like spitting). First thing in the mornings when you wake up, you starting  spitting. It's the funniest thing. Madison and I have taught you to do this big huge smile with your eyes closed and showing your bottom teeth. It's almost as if you are saying "cheese". I've tried to catch it on camera, but your too quick. You're starting to get separation anxiety. I can't leave the room without you crying. I pretty much hold you most of the day or sit in the floor with your toys. As long as you can touch me, you are fine.

We celebrated your First Halloween with lots of family. Alex, Dustin, Crystal, Angela & all the kids came to our house to go trick or treating. You were dressed as a monkey. We took you around in the stroller for a bit.

I love this age you are at and makes me so sad how fast you are growing. Soon you won't want me to hold you all day.

Here is a video of you spitting, ha!

7 Months Old

Tucker you're getting more and more of a personality. You say Da-da all the time. Your smiling more and not making such a serious face. You haven't figured out crawling yet, but can roll all over the living room to where you want to go. You sit up for a little while on your own. When I go shopping, I now put you in the shopping cart sitting up. This past few weeks you got your first cold. I took you to the Doctor and you have croup. Your cough sounds bad, but no fever and your acting just fine. Another big milestone this past month is you have cut your first two teeth. One on September 19th and the other popped up on September 30th.

Last month September 13th-16th, you and I flew to California for your cousin Rocco's first birthday party. The next time we go for a visit maybe you both can interact more and will be walking. Your eating baby food 3 times a day now. I just started giving you rice cakes for babies and you love them. It keeps you entertained for a good 20 minutes so I can get something done. You cry every time I leave the room or get out of your sight. Your perfectly fine just sitting on my lap holding a toy. I love your hair right now. It sticks straight up in the front like I fix every day. I actually do nothing to it after bath time. You have so much more hair than your sisters did. You love giving kisses and smile really big at Madison & Karter. You watch their every move. I'm sad to think you will be mobile soon. I love this age your at and wish I could freeze time.

6 months Old

6 months old:

We went to the doctor today for your check up and shots. Here are your stats.

                    Weight:     17lbs. 15 oz. (50-75%)
                    Length:     27" (75%)
                    FOC:         43.25cm(25-50%)

You're almost sitting up all by yourself. When someone says your name, you turn in their direction. You can roll all over the place. I bought you a exersaucer this past month and you love just sitting and playing. I do hold you a lot! I have started you on more baby food. You really like squash & Mangos. You always look like you are thinking. Always a serious look on your face. You smile and laugh big belly laughs. You're still sleeping thru the night and eating every 2 hours. I thought starting food we could go a little longer, but you still want a 6oz. bottle every two hours. I keep thinking your two bottom teeth are going to pop up at anytime. I can see the very tops somedays and then other days your gums are so swollen. You like to pull on your ear, but the Doctor says they look great. For the most part you are a happy baby. You only cry when hungry, sleepy or teeth hurting. I love that you now give kisses. You can grab our necks and kiss our cheeks. Such a sweet boy!

5 Months Old

Another month has gone by already! Tucker you are growing like a weed. Smiling, laughing and you love to do this very high pitched scream. I bet any day now your two bottom teeth will be poking through. You started rolling over at 4 months. Now every time I lay you on your back you flip right over to your belly. You get so mad that you can't go anywhere. The jumperoo has been a great toy for you. You jump and jump and jump until your little legs get tired. I don't think you have figured out that you can actually just sit and not have to jump the whole time. Now when I try and put you in your bumbo seat, you arch your back and want out. That was short lived. You love to suck your top and bottom lips in like an old person without their teeth, ha!

The only place you will nap is if I'm holding you or in your swing. You love to snuggle close and want me to hold you ALL the time. I'm happy your a snuggler though. I've tried some baby food, but you get an upset tummy. Oatmeal is about the only thing that doesn't seem to bother you, but you don't really care to eat it. You're still taking a bottle every 2 hours except for at night.

I love all your silly faces.

Here is where your arching your back and trying to get out of the chair.

4 Months Old

4 months:

You're still sleeping through the night which has been a blessing. When you cry it's like a loud scream, ha! You love to coo, talk and squeal. If we prop you back on a pillow, you will do a stomach crunch and sit all the way up and fall forward. I tried giving you some rice cereal and bananas. That was not a good idea with your sensitive stomach. With the bananas you cried and cried like your belly hurt.

Today we had your 4 month appointment. Here are your stats:

                          Weight: 15lbs 10oz. (75%)
                          Height: 25 1/4" (75%)
                          FOC: 41/5cm (25-50%)

The doctor said to wait until 6 months to try food again. You certainly are not having a problem gaining weight. Everyone talks about your chubby cheeks. I can't stop kissing your sweet baby face :-) It took several tries to get a 4 month photo. You did not like sitting in your chair and did a lot of crying, ha!
